PROJECT 1 : MODELLING OF AN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

This WIP page is dedicated to show the constant progress of this project and also a media to publish the final submission for this project. Firstly, I've chosen my personal project from Semester 2, Retreat House for this subject. Below are the progress for this submission.

Proceeding to tracing the floor plan and elevations based on the ortographic drawings done previously using AutoCAD.
With reference to the chosen location, the contour is made using SketchUp.

Extruding surfaces using Rhinoceros modeling software based on the traced floor plan and elevations with modifications and amendments along the way.

Top view of the model. (Ghosted)

Front view of the model with louvers added. (Ghosted)

Back view of the model showing the details; the vertical columns to support the first floor is a change from the previous design to be more realistic and able to be constructed. Also, showing the openings that are fitted with frames. (Ghosted)

Right view of the model. (Ghosted)

Left view of the model. The sliding door with glass panes on the ground floor is made of up of 10 similar modules again, also fitted with frames in the model. (Ghosted)

Completed form of the building fitted onto the contour.

Birds eye view of the final form on contour. The darker part is due to the close spacing of the louvers. (Ghosted)

Another view from a different perspective. (Shaded)

Below are some of the test renderings to indicate specific materials such as glass panes for the openings. However, most of the materials have not been inserted yet.

*UPDATED : SIMPLE-RENDERED VIEWS*
